Peptone Water serves as a nutrient base for carbohydrate fermentation and indole production tests in microbiology. Rich in 10g/L peptone and 5g/L NaCl at pH 7.2±0.2. Ideal for E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus from clinical, food, dairy, water samples. Add sugars; autoclave at 121°C.
